Stem Cells hold great promise for the cure of numerous diseases.
A Stem Cell is an immature cell that can be teased into any of the other
basic cell types. This is because the cell has not differentiated. Once a cell
has differentiated, it is no longer a complete being, but only part of being.
Remember, every cell contains
the entire DNA code for the specific individual. After differentiation, most of
the DNA is suppressed.
